Each brief is encrypted on your phone, and the key stays in the link, so our servers can’t read it. Budgets, receipts and your notes are never shared. Links expire, and you can stop sharing any time.

Is Fondfully free?

Yes. Fondfully Free holds up to 5 people, with ideas, occasions, reminders, budgets, memory notes, export and an encrypted backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive from one device. Plus adds unlimited people, sync across your devices, receipts and return reminders, memory photos and gift briefs.

Where is my information stored?

Your vault (people, sizes, ideas, gifts, receipts and memories) lives on your phone. Its backup goes to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive, encrypted on your phone before it leaves. Fondfully’s servers hold only your account: your email, how you sign in, your plan and any support messages.

Can Fondfully read my lists?

No. Your vault never reaches our servers, and your backup is encrypted with a key created on your phone. Apple and Google store only scrambled files. Gift briefs are encrypted on your phone too, and the key stays in the link you send.

Why do I need an account?

Your account is how Fondfully knows it’s you: it holds your email, how you sign in and your plan, so Plus follows you to any phone where you sign in. Your people, ideas and gifts aren’t in your account; they stay in your vault.

What if I lose my phone?

Install Fondfully on your new phone, sign in, and restore from your backup. With iCloud, your vault key comes back through iCloud Keychain. With Google Drive, you enter your vault passphrase. Every vault also has a recovery code, so keep it somewhere other than your phone.

Will the people I shop for see anything?

No. Nobody sees your list. If you send a gift brief, relatives see only the sections you choose, and only until the link expires or you stop sharing it.

Which holidays does Fondfully know?

Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Eid al-Fitr, Lunar New Year, Kwanzaa, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter and Thanksgiving, plus birthdays, anniversaries and any occasion you add yourself. Holidays that move land on the right day each year.

Is it on iPhone and Android?

Yes, with the same features on both. Sign in with Apple and iCloud backup are iPhone only; Google sign-in and Google Drive work on both, so choose Google Drive if you use an iPhone and an Android phone.

How do I cancel Plus or ask for a refund?

Plus Yearly is billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. Plus keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google; our Refund Policy explains how to ask.

What is “Support Fondfully when you shop”?

An optional setting, off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, some store links you open carry Fondfully’s affiliate tag, and we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The tag is added on your phone; we never learn what you opened or bought.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings, then Account, and tap Delete account. You choose whether your vault in your own cloud is deleted too. Our account deletion page explains every option, including what to do if you can’t sign in.
