Membership, billing and restoring purchases

Fondfully is free to start, and Plus adds room for everyone and a few things that make the busy seasons easier.

Free and Plus

Fondfully Free includes:

• Up to 5 people.
• Ideas, occasions, budgets, reminders, this manual and export.
• Backup to your own cloud from one device, and restore.
• Memory notes.

Fondfully Plus adds:

• Unlimited people.
• Sync across all your devices.
• Receipts and return reminders.
• Memories with photos.
• Gift briefs for family.
• On iPhone, a second backup to Google Drive.

Prices

• Plus Yearly: $19.99 a year. It renews automatically every year until you cancel.
• Plus Lifetime: $49.99, one payment, for as long as Fondfully is offered. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Fondfully service, not of a person or a device.

These are our prices in US dollars, before any sales tax. The App Store or Google Play shows the exact price in your currency, and any tax, before you buy, and it can differ by country.

Buy Plus

1. Open Settings, then Membership, and tap Upgrade. The same screen appears when you reach a Plus feature, like adding a sixth person.
2. Choose Yearly or Lifetime. Just above the button, the Plus screen shows the price, that Yearly renews automatically, and how and when to cancel.
3. For Yearly, tap Subscribe, renews yearly. For Lifetime, tap Continue. Then confirm with Apple or Google.

You'll see "Welcome to Plus." Plus belongs to your Fondfully account, so it's there on any phone where you sign in, iPhone or Android.

Family Sharing on iPhone

If you bought Plus on iPhone and use Apple's Family Sharing, the people in your family group can use Plus too. Each person signs in with their own Fondfully account, so they need to be 18 or older, and keeps their own private vault; Family Sharing shares the membership, never your people or ideas. If Plus doesn't appear for them, they can tap Restore purchases.

Purchases made on Google Play can't be shared this way.

Restore purchases

On a new phone, or if Plus isn't showing, open Settings, then Membership, and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the store account you bought with and to the same Fondfully account.

A purchase unlocks Plus for one Fondfully account. If it was bought while you were signed in to a different Fondfully account, you'll see a message saying so. Sign in to that account instead.

Redeem a code

Got a code from Fondfully, like from a giveaway or our support team? Open Settings, then Membership, and tap Redeem a code. You can also find it on the Plus screen. Codes give Plus for the time stated with the code. When that ends, you're back on Free unless you've bought Plus.

Manage or cancel

Open Settings, then Membership, and tap Manage subscription to go to your store's subscription page. Or go there directly:

• On iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Fondfully, then Cancel Subscription.
• On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Fondfully, then Cancel subscription.

To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date on the App Store, or at least 48 hours before it on Google Play. Canceling stops the next renewal, and Plus keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for. Deleting the app, or your Fondfully account, doesn't cancel a subscription.

While your subscription is set to renew, we email you twice before each yearly renewal, about 35 days and about 20 days before your renewal date, with the date, the price, the last day to cancel and how to cancel.

Can't cancel a Google Play subscription yourself? Email support@fondfully.com from your account's email address and we'll cancel it for you through Google Play. Only you, or Apple, can cancel an App Store subscription.

If Plus ends

Nothing in your vault is deleted.

• Everyone you've added stays. To add more than 5 people, you'll need Plus again.
• Sync between devices pauses. Backup from one device carries on, and you can still restore.
• Your receipts stay, but adding new ones, scanned or by hand, and return reminders are part of Plus.
• Memory photos stay. Adding new photos is part of Plus; notes are always free.
• Gift briefs you've already sent work until they expire. Sending new ones is part of Plus.

Support Fondfully when you shop

In Settings, then Shopping, you'll find Support Fondfully when you shop. It's off unless you turn it on.

When it's on, some store links you open from your ideas carry Fondfully's affiliate tag, and Fondfully may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Links we tag show "Paid link: Fondfully earns a commission if you buy". If a link already carries someone else's tag, Fondfully leaves it exactly as it is and adds nothing.

• It never changes prices, or what Fondfully shows you.
• The tag is added on your phone, only when you open a link. Fondfully doesn't learn what you opened or bought.
• Turn it off and links open exactly as you tucked them away.
